|Now, I'm sure I could find hemp products online; I can find just about anything online. But given that I do still see a lot of people walking around in brick-and-mortar stores, that is clearly a major outlet for products. And yet... unless you go into one of those hippie-type specialty stores, you do not see much in the way of hemp. And in those hippie-type specialty stores, you will pay prices that authentic hippies in the heyday of hippiedom would have found too high. Why, you have to have a "straight" salary to afford hippie gear these days.
The upshot is, I have exactly one pair of hemp pants -- and even that is a hemp-cotton blend, not pure hemp. How can we help to "mainstream" hemp products, so that non-yuppies can afford them? And how can we get them into the public awareness, so that people who shop at, say, K-Mart or Target will be aware of their existence?
Live was I ere I saw evil.
