I'm gay but I don't want it to define me! I got tired of the American dream that was pushed on most of us since elementary school. The problem is that we all work too hard, and most bluecollar people live under constant, stressful working conditions we all need our jobs pay high mortages/rents, car payments, and a litany of other expenses. Unfortunaely, the new economy is designed to make slaves out of us. And so.... in desperation, I found the off-grid/tiny house movement, which I like. A lot!! I need time to take care of my health. Time to dream. Time to think! I don't want the government peering into every aspect of my life--through the Internet and other technologies. I don't need FB, or messengers, or a cellphone pasted to my hip 24/7. An equiped, sturdy cozy cabin in the woods sounds nice. Not wanting to work does not make someone irresponsible. Demanding "work"...affects our health and steals smiles, If I could.....I'd simple, romantic Christmas, minus the shopping and malls. Anyone relate????? Anyone else tired of it all? Let's talk.
