Came to this site because I found that my crucial concern in life is the way our environment is quickly changing, with likely severe consequences, which I expect will shape our lives sooner rather than later. Have found that almost no one I speak with understands this, so felt rather desperate to find like-minded people. Finally feel ready for a serious relationship, though probably not kids (I guess with the right person, if there were absolutely enough resources to care for that child).
Looking for chemistry with a guy who's environmentally aware (and not afraid of looking hard at what's going on in the world), creative, a bit eccentric, smart (degrees are not of crucial importance to me, but I've found that men I've dated without degrees usually feel threatened by my Ph.D.), loves dogs, politically left-leaning, not a substance abuser (a little 420 or wine here and there, but nothing habitual or constant), who is able to and wants to get close to someone else. I guess that's the male version of something like me...with strong physical attraction and really good chemistry, who wants and is ready for a strong relationship.
