As a product of the '60's, I am an independent woman who is not afraid of spiders but who admits to being a closet romantic. And I maintain the hippie attitudes I learned regarding materialism, consumerism, human rights, relationships, environmentalism, and politics. People think I become more radical with age.
I am a vegetarian for my physical health as well as the health of the planet. I live the 3 R's. I stopped "going shopping" when I realized how much excess by which I was surrounded.
I enjoy urban hiking. Camping has never been a vacation option. Nature should be respected and preserved but I am content in viewing it from a distance.
My taste in music, books, TV and film entertainment can at best be described as eclect. At worst, it is called confused. I prefer individual.
Skin color and body types are not traits I use to describe a man. What I am truly looking for is a man with a wonderful mind and a fantastic sense of humor who does not wonder why I empty my coffee pot on my house plants.
