Our modern industrial capitalist society is causing catastrophic, irreversible damage for the future survival of our beloved home-sphere and for all of those many, many beings who call Gaea their home, including our own species. I feel, day by day, the relentless assault upon our home as an attack upon my very soul as 200 fellow species whom I will never meet become extinct every single day. From the ancient wisdom of indigenous populations to our Western scientific understanding, many, many people are beginning to realize that our modern way of life is the direct cause of the critical state our world is in. Those few in power, with the money and the resources which they have gutted from the planet, are perfectly content to let our home perish just for a little more short-term profit.
I'm looking for someone who, like me, understands the dire situation threatening our most beloved blue marble. Perhaps, together, we could do our small part to help fight against this Leviathan which has keep us complacent as the world around us burns.
