A bit about myself, I’m 25 and just moved back to Seattle after spending the last fifteen months in Laguna Beach California getting to know my father’s side of the family more intimately. Family is very important to me…and I think it is one of the lost arts of our westernized culture.

I like the quiet, simple things in life the best; it’s in those places that I find tranquility and peace. I spend lots of time in the mountains, 100 days a year or so, either snowboarding, hiking, or backpacking. A stillness that I cannot find in the city enters me in those places and gives me a perspective toward the bigger meaning of life and my own values. I care very much about the natural world and am a believer in the Gaia theory. My future ambitions place me as a natural capitalist working in the ecological design sector either in sustainable communities or modular homes. It’s fair to say that I’m green. So far I’ve painted myself as serious; however I’m laid back while being fun-filled and playful.

It would be great to find a woman that I really connect with, but that starts with having fun and getting along. I’ve outgrown the maturity level of some of my high school friends and am looking to connect with a more thoughtful and engaged social network.

Must haves:
You must be youthful playful but emotionally and intellectually mature. You must take pride in your life and it should show through regular exercise a spiritual connectedness and an ability to enjoy whatever you’re doing. People who are unhappy, unfulfilled, or have no sense of self need not respond. I would enjoy it if you were liberal and open-minded, but I get along with conservatives as long as they are accepting and grounded.
