I am looking to get to know an interesting, caring and fun woman who is also a gardener.
I am a positive and optimistic man who loves to create beauty and sustenance in my home and communitiy through making gardens and orchards. This is my vocation and lifes work and pastime as well. I'm kind of into it and I create fabulous,diverse, organic gardens. My home garden is on 1/3 acre and I have 5 acres on a nearby island where I'm also creating a future home, slowly but surly. I have been with non-gardening parteners that were wonderful in so many ways but they did not care to join me much in the garden. Thats not why I'm no longer with them but now after being single now and looking for more like minded companionship and relationships I thought I would try the Green Passions site and put the love of gardening out there and see what happens! Nothing tried nothing gained right?
I am also moved by nature, art, architechture, a well honed craft or talent, good humor and passion. I love books far more than TV but I do like the occasional film. I like coming up with practical, creative solutions that make eveyday life more pleasurable. I love cooking and living the good life with friends and food from the garden or from a local farm that I know, and meat raised by animals treated well. I live an eclectic mix of music and sometimes I can persuade my body to dance.
I would love to get to know a woman with a similar interest in healthy living and making the world a better place. Fun loving and possibly quite silly, but able to pull it together in a more serious moment. A woman who likes to look and feel beautiful, who is artistic. A woman with faith in the future and a passion for life, who sees the sacredness in all of life. A woman who could even teach this seasoned horticulturalist a thing or two about living a beautiful life and growing a beautiful garden.
