finding fun in simple things, uncomplicated life Want someone to go out and watch music with or throw some beers in a backpack and go for a hike. Fun is to me the most important thing to strive for - it should be part all the little things throughout every day. I'm liberal, eco-minded, looking for someone to talk about what was on NPR today. I love to cook at home or go out- wish there was more ethnic food in Fort Wayne (Middle Eastern my fave)! Just got my Master's in Biology, trying to get a job in conservation while temping for now. Books-Dave Eggers, David Sedaris, John Irving, Michael Pollan. Movies- Wes Anderson, anything with zombies, documentaries. Music - Bon Iver, Afghan Whigs, Dinosaur Jr, Hot Water Music, Andrew Bird...lots more. I want to be involved in making my community more open-minded, eco-conscious, and integrated. I'm pretty introverted but I try- it takes awhile for me to make friends but they are true and forever. I have little tolerance for idiocy (including right wingers and religious fanatics). Not interested in getting married or having kids, or dating anyone with kids, really (I am the best aunt ever though). I'm very happy generally though have been through some b.s. as have we all I guess. My family is crazy and wonderful and they are my best friends. I want someone who values me but doesn't NEED me, is spontaneous, thoughtful, motivating, fun, able to teach me something new, confident, and just responsible enough.
