I'm a passionate (rabid?) advocate of stopping culture's relentless drive to consume the planet. It's time for me to leave the mainstream and live the life I've imagined for--well, forever, it seems. I'd like to do it as part of a "lifeboat" effort, in community somewhere with others who see where we're all headed. But, if I must, I'll do it solo...

Several acres off-the-grid sounds wonderful. I already have some of the skills (gardening, food preservation, etc.) and I'm anxious to lIearn the rest. A friend and lover to dive into the unknown with would be superb.
