I am a just retired English as a Second Language high school teacher. Although I thoroughly enjoyed working with those remarkable teens from all around the world, I'm glad to leave the meetings,marking and report cards behind. I'm now turning my attention to writing short stories and novels and to catch up with the other creative aspects of myself. And of course, to spend more time with my beloveds.

I am long-time divorced with no children and am looking for the love of my life to share these years of freedom. I'm no longer tied to any particular area, although I do have friends and family in southern Ontario whom I expect to remain close to.

I squeeze in as much exercise as juggling all my other interests allows and I enjoy healthy, mostly organic, homemade meals with a world-fusion influence in my cooking. I'm a lapsed meditator and am working at re-establishing regular practise.

In my mind, music, art and literature are participatory sports. I traveled a fair amount in my 20s and 30s and would like to resurrect that passion. Cultures, particularly aboriginal cultures on any continent, interest me the most, and I have worked for 7 years in two such settings. I also have a background in publishing an organic gardening and farming magazine and working as a Peace Corps volunteer.
