In short, I am a bookish twenty-something grad student who is too idealistic for his own good, and enjoys riding bicycles, perusing open-market stalls, and lingering in coffeehouses and bookstores. In addition, here are 10 facts about me:

1. I was born and raised in New York

4. I can't stand grapes or grape juice, but I do enjoy wine
5. I have owned 2 dogs, a turtle, a rabbit, a frog, and countless fish in various forms.
6. I was raised in an Irish Catholic household, and thus both my faith and my family are important to me.
7. I will eat anything once.
8. I probably spend too much time in the kitchen.
9. I lean left politically.
