I live in a small Mt.town in Colorado. Not far from Denver.I was born and raised in New York City.
I have lived quite a few years in the Smoky Mts. of North Carolina; where I lived very simply ; wood heat,spring water, compost toilet, organic gardens, chickens, home workshop,Tipi,Inipi; and am very skilled,knowledgeable,and happy in that way of life.
I'm a Drum maker;I make Native American and African style Drums. My work is fairly well known in Native circles. I've made Drums for grammy and nammy award winners, Native Drum groups,performers,people gathering their spiritual tools, medicine people; and in 2002 I was comissioned to build Pow Drums for the opening ceremonies of the winter olympics in Salt Lake City. I'm also a Tie Dyer, artist / craftsmen, musician. I am NOT a "dominant culture" kind of guy. I have kids / love kids; they presently live with their mom.

I have deep respect for other ways of spiritual relationship.Simple living,hands in the dirt,growing food and medicine, gentle strength, quiet power,lush sacred places where water rushes over rock, heart to hearts by the fire till the sun comes up, gazing deeply into each other's eyes, silly playfulness....
