Looking for shared laughter, shared stories, shared footsteps
Not really good at this. I usually start to get to know people by listening so this is strange. Raised on a farm the land has always been important to me. I work as an academic and am passionate about ideas and hope in some way that my work does make a difference. I also continue to do creative work with children which makes a bit of a difference to my sanity! Doing small things to lighten my carbon footprint is important to me, but I'd like to be doing more. My path till now has led me from country to city and I have the growing sense that now is the time to turn that path. I like doing anything that involves colours and textures, knitting, quilting, weaving, or doing craft activities with my kids. At the moment all I have is a window box, but would love a garden. I like poetry, hosting get togethers, cooking, silence, bird song, long walks, firelight, starlight, the quirky things of life. Mostly looking to have a few more friendships and see what happens from there.
