While the city has its attractions, I'm a nature girl at heart and usually would rather be outdoors hiking, exploring or reading. I hope to leave the East Coast behind at some future date. I'm a pop science geek and tend to read about it, as well as history, philosophy, and historical fiction.
I also enjoy experimenting with new vegetarian recipes, listening to blues and folk music, drawing and travel. I can be equally serious or silly.
I try to recycle everything I can, avoid non-recyclable packaging, and eat organic at home, and low on the food chain, which is a great excuse for splurging on yummy Indian or Thai food. And of course I bring my own bag when shopping
