I've been eco and sustainable since before it was chic. Hosted my own talk radio show on 'socially responsible businesses' in 1998. When I see something that needs doing, I do it. Come up with a solution or insights. I don’t suffer complainers gladly.


I have a strong introspective side. Creative personal growth. Learning, laughing, playing. History, the Arts, writing & photos, TCM. Spiritual. Centered. Confident.

I like being active, especially outdoors. Tingles every fiber of my Being - rock climbing, biking, swimming, kayak, up in the air and mountains or down in caves and under the water. Part mountain lion, part otter.

I like to grow stuff. And handyman stuff. Sometimes I’m a lot like McGiver, from the old TV show.

Musically eclectic – Classic rock ‘n roll, Folk, Swing, Blues, ballads. And some Country. Turn me on to what you like.

I've long appreciated the urban wilderness - places along the railroad tracks and backs of factories. That's what I grew up with. All the while dreaming of wilderness mountains and ocean and deserts. Being blocks from Lake Michigan satifies me tho.

I'm drawn to women who are upbeat, smart, have ideas, are active, and attractive. Open to exploring my enthusiasms, since I'll be with yours. You don’t have to know how to swing dance, but be open to it. I’m a great teacher.
Ideally you’d be within a days drive of Chicago, but sometimes ya just don’t know.

There’s show biz in my family. So sure, I like being the center of attention at times. I’ll sing, tell stories and recite poems. But I also use my center stage skills to do my small bit to build a better world.
