At best I'm expressive, creative, literate, witty, and compassionate, play well with others, and sometimes remember to breathe. I'm a writer, currently working on a novel about the Hollywood blacklist. Been known to do legitimate work that actually pays. I've studied literature, philosophy and acting, and did grad work in depth psychology, all in Santa Barbara. I'm not afraid of baggage, yours or mine, as long as it's unpacked with goodwill and humor.

I've got a yen for a vegan with emotional savvy, refined but not stuffy, familiar with his own inner terrain. Someone who isn't addicted to sports or other drugs, with a passion for social justice fed by compassion, humility and intellectual curiosity. Somone who cares about the soul of the world as much as his own. Preferably someone who can't keep his mind, or his hands, off me. A man with wit & wisdom enough to beat me at Scrabble or die trying...or at least die laughing. If you're a complex, sometimes tormented soul who lives with paradox & pain with a degree of humility, if not with constant grace, and if, for extra credit, you love to dance & can carry a tune I'll follow you anywhere.
