Sustainability One of my job skill sets is a designer/drafter in mechanical engineering and industrial engineering fields. I try to incorporate sustainable design into everything that I create as the modern world we live in today has chosen this way of engineering due to rising population and pollution due to the rising use of energy needed to provide for the quickly rising populations in the world. Renewable energy and smart materials are very influential in keeping our natural infrastructure in tact, in turn allowing us to survive to continue our growing and overcrowded way of living that we are adapting towards. Traditional tudor style homes of the past will be long gone and water saving, recycling abe, energy renewing apartment pods is the way of the future. Sustainability is how we will survive this explosion of limitless possibilities over the past 30 years.
