Hello there. I am single & retired. I have many interests, but mainly they are singing, theatre & animals. I love cats & dogs & I walk a dog for someone else, but do not have one myself.

I do occasional voluntary work for a local environmental group, which includes scrub bashing, path clearance, litter picking & gardening.

I consider myself to be attractive & quite young for my age. I retired very early because I worked hard to do so. Most of my career I was a midwife, but I did do some general nursing at the beginning & end of my 32 year NHS career. I work just one morning a week caring for the elderly mother of a friend.

I would love to meet someone who cares about the environment. They don't have to be passionate about it, just interested/concerned. If they were interested in music too, that would be great. I have a wide taste in music, but particularly like classical & choral & I love stuff from the 60s & 70s, especially psychodelia.

I prefer intelligent people & I really don't get on with "Jack the Lad" type men.

I have absolutely no interest in sport & I do not smoke or enjoy being with smokers.

I am confident & like my friends/partners to be the same. I have no children & am not keen to meet anyone with young children.

Would love to hear from anyone in roughly my age group (mid 50s up to early 60s) who thinks they might like to meet me.
