I love to go to new places, meet new people and try new things. My interests are broad and varied, but the common themes are a love of the arts, food, the outdoors...and having friends along to join in the fun. If I had to sum up what I'm looking for in one short sentence, I'd say: "a free spirit who'll get out on the dance floor and boogie with me." I mean that both literally and figuratively!

Some of my favorite activities include biking, cross-country skiing and hiking, so I feel fortunate to live near so many lakes, bike trails and state parks. I can enjoy my "ideal day" without going very far.

Many of my happiest memories involve having friends over for dinner and board games (Balderdash, anyone?) or for a backyard barbecue and a round of badminton.

I enjoy gardening and would like to learn more about watershed gardens and vermiposting. Right now, I live in an apartment and while I do have enough space to grow quite a number of flowers, I haven't been able to pursue this hobby as much as I'd like to.

I'm looking for someone who loves the simple things in life, is awed by the wonders of nature, and treasures the company of family and friends. Ample energy to get out and enjoy life - going to museums, parks, traveling, finding adventure - is a must. Oh, and making me laugh till I snort gets a gold star.
