350 ppm I spent most of my life chasing pucks and racing down bike trails and ski slopes and then-- sidelined by Lyme. After a four-year battle, I am finally starting to get my life back. I'll be coming home to BC at the end of the spring to start a new job with a fantastic Vancouver firm and I cannot wait!

I'm also the solo mom of the most cheerful, outgoing, vehicle-obsesses four-year-old on the planet. (If you happen to be a police officer, fire fighter, train engineer, helicopter pilot or heavy machine operator, you will have an automatic leg up with him.)

Things I love: George RR Martin, John Irving, Queen, BattleStar Galactica, Sopranos, Downton Abbey, Mad Men, skiing, mountain biking, hockey, laughing, warm beaches, chocolate, food in general, haunted houses, dogs, animals in general, staying up late and sleeping in, and most of all, my little boy.

Things I don't love: stress, arrogance, aggression, willful blindness, waiting in line, small talk, crowds, and slow-moving traffic.

My good qualities: creative, curious, adventurous, protective, affectionate, problem-solver, kind-hearted, and determined.

My bad qualities: stubborn, impatient, tendency to pile too much on my plate.

What I am looking for: I am hoping to find someone who shares my values about the environment, social justice, and animal welfare, who loves kids or at least could fall in love with mine, who loves skiing and the outdoors, who is globally aware, who is looking for something long-term.
