I am looking to create a new love story in my life. I consider myself to be very easy going, open to all types of people, and always up for a good laugh, good music, and good conversation.
My professional journey has taken me in a number of different directions. I started out studying agriculture and working on a number of different farms (milking cows, picking veggies, growing flowers). I then went on to pursue my interest in botany and ran a gardening business and grew and sold perennials at a local farmer's market. A few years ago, I decided to renew my never-used teaching certificate. I now teach middle school science which I love. Middle school kids are hillarious and every day is an adventure. I also get to share my passion (I teach Life Science) and try and rock the next generation's world (or at least get them to think about it).
I am an avid music lover. I spent my youth dancing to the Dead and still appreciate all music (especially anything that gets me up and moving).
I have a teenage son who I adore. He brings me laughter and tears and a good day is one when I can watch him in one of his many sports and then we just hang out and rehash it over and over again.
I hope to connect with a person who enjoys life and looks at each day as a new opportunity to find out something new about himself and the world. I want good conversations, laughter, and everything that comes with friendship and mutual respect. I have no illusions about how complex relationships are but I realize how great life can be when it's shared with another.
