I am only a little old fashioned. I don't expect a guy to pay for everything but I have a soft spot for guys who feel chivalry is not dead. Being open to new things doesn't have to mean tying a rubber band around your ankle and leaping from a bridge but I would like someone to try Mongolian food with. I am a fiend for live music of any kind. Well, almost any kind. I won't say that I "hate" any type of music but let’s just say you'd NEVER catch me at Fan Fair. I grew up in the south and I am proud of where I come from - but that doesn't mean I think it is any better or worse than where someone else comes from. I don't act like a hick or talk like one. I enjoy taking spur of the moment road trips and cooking new and interesting things (you've just gotta try my cactus quesadillas). I watch lots of movies but no TV. I am a terrible smart-ass. I love the sentence "It's funny until someone gets hurt... then it is downright hilarious.” I love to laugh and make others laugh. I do not and will not associate with innately negative people. I can enjoy a sports game of any kind but someone whose day is ruined by the score of a game is not for me. I am not a big fan of make-up. I have nothing against it really, and might wear it on occasion - I would just usually rather spend my time doing something than getting ready to do something. I believe the secret to life is balance. I don't need someone to complete me but, someone to sit on the other side of the see-saw would be nice. As Groucho Marx said: These are my principles. If you don't like them, I have others.
